I was deeply honored to be asked to co-found this organization with K. Micheal Shepherd and Chierl Thompson. This group dovetails with REHL to inform and support each other as we advocate for homeowner rights and HOA stability. As stated on the WATCH site, "Our mission is to provide a platform for owners to submit their association experiences via our feedback form along with being a champion of  smart and well balanced legislation that strengthens every community without creating new burdens or unintended harm to a single community.."

This is a group based in Florida that was recently launched. From their home page: "The US Coalition for Association Reform (USCFAR) is committed to changing how associations are governed by shifting the balance of power to better safeguard and advance the rights of individual property owners."

This is a Facebook group that, per their "about" segment, "is a group of community association owners dedicated to promoting best practices for operations, governance, and management. Through education and advocacy, we strive for openness, transparency, and uniformity of all community association's laws. Join us to learn, share, and unite for the benefit of our communities."

Mr. Staropoli has an impressive amount of experience tackling abusive HOAs, standing up to bad actors in the industry, fighting against legislation that hurts or denies American citizens' rights, and fighting for legislation that protects them. Mr. Staropoli also has written extensively on his knowledge and experiences in advocacy and has a regular blog that you can sign up for as well as a book he has put together of his writing.

This website is a wealth of information, resources, and discussion on the problem of HOAs in the American housing industry. There are links to even more resources; podcasts, interviews, and articles; special topics; and much more.

This is a Facebook group that offers a platform to exchange information, ideas, and resources to help people in HOA Hells.

Site of Douglas Kruschen, which has a lot of info for California specifically but also has information that could be useful for anyone. Per the "About Us" page, "As a paralegal advocate, Douglas has provided non-lawyer representation to clients in workers’ compensation, EDD, and HOA IDR hearings."

This is a resource from PluralPolicy which lets you find your state and federal representatives with just one click. You can use your current location or enter your address. From there, you know who to write to advocate for chancge and protection.
